The Turvavilles were kind enough to invite us to their cabin in Balsam, NC for Thanksgiving. It was our first trip to the Appalachian Mtns. It was a beautiful time to visit, even though most of the leaves had already fallen. Very different from the Rockies we are used to.
The night before we left it got pretty cold. The clouds left a frost on the trees, it was an amazing sight to see.
The girls really enjoyed being around friends, and mom and dad didn't mind the extra help either. We all needed a breath of fresh air outside the house after a very busy few weeks.
