Mom and Addellyn have birthdays about a week apart, and since we celebrated mom's Birthday late and Addellyn's Birthday early we had a few days straight of celebration. This was all happening as we packed and tried to get ready to move out...
Mom's Birthday was the day before Nate got home from his mission, so we postponed a day so he could join the festivities.
Good thing Grandma Reese was there to make everyone a party hat out of the tissue and wrapping paper. We gave mom a book I made of all the pictures and memories from sharing a home for a year...I think she liked it.
Addellyn turned 3 the same day that Nate was giving his return report about his mission and having a welcome home party...so we pushed Addellyn's party back a day.
We were so glad Grandma and Grandpa Miller were there for Nate's report so we could use their hotel pool--since swimming is Addellyn's ALL TIME favorite activity...
After some great swimming, we came home to a "donut tower cake" and quite the gift line-up. She mostly got things that would keep her and the others entertained during our LONG car trip only one short day away...
Thank goodness for an energetic, sensitive, happy, wonderful...little girl! She is a joy to be around and always keeping us on our toes.
