We've been meaning to get an actual dining room table since we got an actual dining room a few years ago. So, when Ty saw this beauty at the World Market on sale at the end of January, he jumped at the chance to kill two birds with one stone.

He took advantage of his day off and the willingness of this little helper to put in together. Coleson will take about any opportunity to do boy-type things since he is typically coerced into playing Barbies or princesses with the girls.
It looks super nice. We'll see how long it lasts before it is christened with its first scratch. The odds, unfortunately, are not in the table's favor.
While a dining room table may not be a sappy Valentine's Day present you'd see on a goofy "chick flick," it just shows that Ty knows what his woman really wants and helps her know she's truly loved.
