Guess who came to visit??
We met Nana and Papa half way to the beach (they had flown into Raleigh) and then we were on our way. It was so fun to take them to the East Coast. We've lived here a LONG time and they hadn't been yet. 
We walked along the beach after church on Sunday. The weather was PERFECT. We have really had great experiences going to the beach in September.
Evaleigh hates the grass to touch her toes, so we wondered if she wouldn't like the gritty sand on her feet...She loved it!
The kids were thrilled to be with grandparents.
For months they talked about how awesome it was going to be that they could be with some of their favorite people in their favorite place.
Our kids would LOVE to live on the beach some day...
She wasn't as sure about the water crashing in, but after a short while of riding in the pack, she decided she liked the water just fine too!
As long as she had someone's hand.
